2 May 1917 on passage Avonmouth for Alexandria with military stores. Torpedoed by German submarine UC-37 (Otto Launburg) 9 miles North of Djidjelli, damaged, beached near there on 3rd, then refloated

24 November 1918 re-deployed as a transport carrying wheat from the River Plate area

1919 returned to her owners – name unchanged
