The Editors of the RFA Historical Society are seeking readers help to identify the tanker shown in the photograph posted above. The image above appears to be another Wave class tanker – before about 1948 (?) but can anyone name her please. Suggestions as to the ships identity please via the Guest Book

“Thank you our friends for making various suggestions as to the identity of this Wave Class tanker. We believe the ship is almost certainly RFA Wave Chief which served the RFA well between 1946 and 1974 and was the last of the 20 Wave Class tankers at sea. She was broken up in 1975 by T W Ward Ltd at Inverkeithing, Fife.
