February 1918 completed

29 March 1918 requisitioned by the Admiralty for service as a Collier – name unchanged – until 18 July 1918

19 July 1918 re-deployed as a Transport carrying wheat from the United States until 3 October 1918

4 October 1918 re-deployed as a Collier (again)

9 December 1918 was stopped and boarded by the 2nd Class cruiser HMS JUNO between Aden and Perim and after being cleared was allowed to proceed

1919 owners became Poverty Bay Farmers’ Meat Co Ltd., (same Managers) Glasgow – name unchanged

1927 owners now Balgowan Steamship Co Ltd (same Managers) Glasgow and renamed Balgowan

27 July 1940 sailed Liverpool in escorted convoy OB140 until dispersal on 31 July 1940

17 January 1941 sailed Aden in escorted convoy BN13 to Suez arriving 24 January 1941 with a cargo of coal

28 January 1941 sailed Port Said in convoy AN14 to Piraeus arriving 2 February 1941

4 March 1941 sailed Piraeus in convoy AS16/1 to Port Said arriving 8 March 1941

24 March 1941 sailed Suez in convoy BS21 until dispersal on 1 April 1941 for Aden

17 October 1941 sailed Sydney, Cape Breton in escorted convoy SC50 to Liverpool arriving 4 November 1941 with a cargo of flour

27 November 1941 sailed the Clyde in escorted convoy ON41 but had to put back

3 December 1941 sailed Liverpool in escorted convoy ON43 but had to put back again

17 February 1942 wrecked near Lawrencetown, Nova Scotia while on and independent passage from Saint John, New Brunswick to the UK with a cargo of Canadian wheat
