23 July 1940 sailed Halifax in escorted convoy HX60 to Liverpool with a cargo of FFO arriving 7 August 1940

1941 in Admiralty Service (Royal Fleet Auxiliary)

22 June 1942 sailed Port of Spain for Freetown with a cargo of 14,000 tons of fuel oil, on the 23rd  off Trinidad she was attacked by U128 (Korvettan Luitenant Ulrich Heyse) who fired a torpedo at the ship, which struck her on the Starboard side, amidships.

The crew abandoned ship and were pulling away from her, when she was hit by a second torpedo, U 128 then proceeded to shell the ship which quickly became engulfed in flames and sank after about an hour in position 12º 10’ N  59º 10’ W

Some of the crew made land at Tobago and the rest managed to reach Port of Spain on the 25 June.  There were no casualties in the crew of 32 Norwegian, 4 Canadian and 4 British seamen.
