9 April 1940 was on passage from Abadan to Aden when war broke out in Norway

WW2 fitted as and served as an Escort Oiler in the Atlantic and Indian Oceans – name unchanged

15 May 1943 sailed Liverpool in convoy ON184 to New York arriving 31 May 1943. With three other tankers in this convoy acted as an Escort Oiler

16 June 1943 sailed Halifax in convoy SC134 to Loch Ewe arriving 30 June 1943. With five other tankers in this convoy acted as an Escort Oiler

16 July 1943 sailed the River Clyde joing convoy ON193 to New York arriving 30 July 1943. With five other tankers in this convoy acted as an Escort Oiler – carried 60 spare depth charges for the Escorts

9 August 1943 sailed Halifax in convoy SC139 to Liverpool arriving 25 August 1943. With five other tankers in this convoy acted as an Escort Oiler – carried 60 spare depth charges for the Escorts

24 October 1943 sailed Halifax in convoy SC143 to Loch Ewe arriving 7 November 1943 – carried 20 spare depth charges for the Escorts

17 November 1944 sailed Halifax in convoy SC161 to Loch Ewe 5 December 1944. With four other tankers in this convoy acted as an Escort Oiler

21 April 1945 sailed Belfast Lough joining convoy ONS48 to Halifax arriving 4 May 1945. With one other tanker in this convoy acted as an Escort Oiler

16 May 1945 sailed Halifax to Southend arriving 1 June 1945. With four other tankers in this convoy acted as an Escort Oiler – carried 10 spare depth charges for the Escorts  

1951 purchased by A/B Aug. Leffer & Son (Otto Kihlstrom, Manager) Norway and renamed Ibis

1955 purchased by Arm. Kaliana Barbagelata, Italy and renamed Palermitano

December 1962 arrived La Spezia for demolition by Italian ship breakers
