1912  lengthened and owners became Ford Shipping Co Ltd (Mann, Macneil & Co, Managers) Glasgow name

1915  requisitioned for Admiralty service as a Fleet Messenger name unchanged

16 May 1916 sunk SE of Crete by gunfire from U-38 in position 34.02N 27.32E – her crew survived
