11 July 1913 launched by North of Ireland Shipbuilding, Londonderry as Yard Nr: 56 named GLENFOYLE for James Mayfair, Londonderry

August 1913 completed

25 September 1916 requisitioned for Admiralty service, initially as a Collier – name unchanged until 4 January 1917

1916 purchased by Great Lakes Transportation Co Ltd., Midland – name unchanged

5 January 1917 re deployed as a Expeditionary Force Transport until 15 January 1917 – name unchanged

16 January 1917 re deployed as a collier – name unchanged – until 21 April 1917

22 April 1917 became a Commissioned Decoy Ship and also operated as DONLEVON and STONECROP

18 September 1917 torpedoed and sunk by German Submarine U43 65 miles SW of Mizen Head with the loss of thirty four lives. One of those who was killed is buried in Cherbourg Old Communal Cemetery and the remaining thirty three are rememberd with pride on the Chatham, Plymouth and Portsmouth Naval Memorials
