11 April 1914 launched by Ailsa Shipbuilding Co Ltd., Troon as Yard Nr: 287 named GLEN USK for P & A Campbell Ltd., Bristol

May 1914 completed as a paddle steamer

17 July 1914 arrived at Newport from Weston Super Mare with passengers

27 July 1914 arrived at Newport from Weston Super Mare with passengers sailing later in the day

28 January 1915 requisitioned for Admiralty service as an Auxiliary Mine Sweeper and commissioned as HMS GLEN USK

6 March 1918 2nd Mate Walter Weir Ferguson MMR discharged dead. He is buried in Glasgow (Sighthill) Cemetery in grave 8N 72

16 November 1918 Greaser William J H Webb MMR discharged dead from Spanish Flu. He is buried in Bristol (Arnos Vale) Cemetery in grave JJJ13

21 November 1918 sailed Granton to Scapa Flow

2 April 1919 Signaller Edward William Clayton RNVR discharged dead – drowned. He is buried in Camberwell Old Cemetery in grave 50.26010

5 September 1919 decommissioned, refitted and returned to her owners as GLEN USK

16 September 1939 requisitioned for Admiralty service as an Auxiliary Minespeeper and commissioned as HMS GLEN USK

30 August 1959 grounded on the River Avon’s Horseshoe Bend with some 600 passengers on board. She was refloated the next day

29 April 1963 left Cardiff under tow for Haulbowline Industries Ltd at Cork

1 May 1963 arrived at Passage West for demolition by Haulbowline Industries Ltd
