May 1866 completed as a paddle steamer for the Caldonian Canal service

1879 purchased by David Macbrayne Ltd., Glasgow

October 1939 purchased by the Admiralty

October 1939 after the sinking of the battleship HMS Royal Oak at Scapa Flow, she was stripped right down and was then towed to Scapa Flow for use as a Block Ship

21 March 1940 filled with concrete and scuttled at Water Sound, Scapa Flow
