8 May 1902 launched by J Reid & Co Ltd., Whiteinch as Yard Nr: 325 named Queen for Southampton, Isle of Wight & South of England Steam Packet Co Ltd., Southampton

17 May 1916 requisitioned for Admiralty service as an Auxiliary Patrol Vessel – name unchanged

25 November 1920 decommissioned, refitted and returned to her owners as Queen

1936 was renamed Mauretania by her owners in order to reserve the name for a new Cunarder being built
