27 July 1908 launched by Armstrong Whitworth & Co Ltd., Low Walker as Yard Nr: 803 named Roumanian for Petroleum Steamship Co Ltd (Lane & MacAndrew Ltd., Managers) London 

September 1908 completed

17 September 1916 while on passage from Cork to Hull was stopped by HMS PATUCA, checked and allowed to proceed

26 November 1916 while on passage from Sabine to Grangemouth was stopped by HMS PATUCA, checked and allowed to proceed

June 1917 owners and 7 ship fleet purchased by British Tanker Co Ltd, London and renamed British Baron although nominal owners remained unchanged

15 November 1917 requisitioned for Admiralty service as an oiler, name unchanged

1918 returned to her nominal owners – name unchanged

1921 owners became British Tanker Co Ltd., – name unchanged

17 April 1925 purchased by K Kuhnle, Bergen and renamed Norne

1928 purchased by Soc. Anon. Industrie Marinara, Genoa and renamed Vincas

11 November 1932 arrived and anchored off Melbourne to discharge

1935 purchased by unknown Japanese buyers

3rd quarter 1936 broken up in Japan
