3 August 1939 british Naval Authorities refused to allow 2 French tankers depart Port Said for France fearing their oil cargoes would fall into German hands and the ships were seized.

1940 acquired by the MoWT, name unchanged, under management of British Tanker Co  Ltd, London and requisitioned for Admiralty service and served as a Convoy Escort.

1945 returned to her French owners, name unchanged.

8 April 1945 arrived La Spezia for demolition by Italian breakers.
