9 August 1935 at Darling Harbour the crew walked off the ship in an industrial dispute shortly before the vessel was due to sail

12 December 1935 sailed Sydney, NSW with a volunteer crew during an indutrial dispute involving the Seamans Union

10 March 1936 at Hobart a stowaway discovered onboard and was handed over to the Police

4 December 1936 when on arrival at Sydeny NSW from Newcastle and berthing struck the wharf causing damage there to. The ship was not damaged

27 May 1938 grounded north of Bruny Island at the entrance to D’Entrecasteaux Channel off Denne’s Point. After eight hours floated clear on the high tide

WW2 requisitioned for Admiralty service as a Naval Stores Issuing Ship – name unchanged and finally served with the British Pacific Fleet Train – hence the B-Pennant Nr.

12 February 1943 sailed Sydney, NSW and joined in escorted convoy CO71 and then independently to Hobart arriving 16 February 1943

26 February 1943 sailed Melbourne in escorted convoy OC74 to Sydney NSW arriving 1 March 1943

10 March 1943 sailed Sydney NSW and joined in escorted convoy CO78 and then independently to Hobart arriving 13 March 1943

19 March 1943 sailed Melbourne in escorted convoy OC80 to Sydney NSW arriving 22 March 1943

3 April 1943 sailed Sydney NSW and joined in escorted convoy CO85 and then independently to Hobart arriving 6 April 1943

12 April 1943 sailed Hobart independently
