13 February 1897 while on passage from Natal to London was involved in a collision in thick fog off Portland with the steamship Clan Grant of Glasgow.
14 February 1897 reached Portland Harbour in a badly damaged condition where her passengers were landed
13 July 1897 in the Admiralty Division of the High Court a case was heard concerning the above collision before Mr Justice Gorell Barnes sitting with Trinity Masters. The Clan Grant was alone held to blame.
3 January 1915 hired by the Admiralty as a store carrier, name unchanged
17 April 1916 returned to her owners
