8 October 1896 in collision with ss Alexander in Hull Roads. The ss Alexander sank with the loss of ten of her crew.

18 June 1897 proceedings in the Admiralty Division of the High Court found that there was insufficient lookout on the ss Alexander on the  8 October 1896 and that ship was held totally to blame

1 January 1905 owners became London & Yorkshire Railway Co, Goole, name unchanged

8 October 1914 requisitioned by the Admiralty for service as a Stores Carrier. Her name was changed to Wenning

2 February 1915 became a munitions carrier. Name unchanged

1 December 1918 returned to her owners

1 January 1922 owners became London & North Western Railway Co, Goole name unchanged

1 January 1923 owners became part of London, Midland & Scottish  Railway Co, name unchanged

12 June 1931 While on passage from Hull to Jersey with a cargo of empty potato barrels she was in collision in the English Channel 19 miles WSW of the Sovereign Light Vessel with the Greek steamer IONNIS VATIS and was badly damaged and was laid up at Goole
